Movement is for every body.
Move For Life is a community health movement in Woking, getting families, beginners and young people moving together. For fitness, yes. But also for connection, mental health, and a fairer shot for the next generation.
First session: Thursday 25th June, 6:30 PM · Woking Park
The system is leaving people behind. Movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to change that.

Join the list →Hi, I'm Miguel.
I'm a qualified personal trainer in Woking with two years' experience coaching beginners, families and all ages, from first-ever press-ups to calisthenics, strength and boxing. I started Move For Life because I believe movement shouldn't be reserved for people who already feel fit, or who can afford a gym. It's for families, for kids, for total beginners, for everyone. We're thinking big, but starting small: one park, one session, one person at a time.

Bigger than a workout.
I'm Miguel, a Woking-based personal trainer. For the last couple of years I've coached everyone from complete beginners to people stepping into training for the first time, in calisthenics, strength, and boxing and Muay Thai pad work.
I started Move For Life because I think we've made movement complicated and exclusive, when it should be the opposite. Fewer than half of children in this country move enough to be healthy, PE keeps getting cut from schools, and whole communities are left to figure it out alone. Movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to change that: for our bodies, our heads, and the people around us.
So I'm starting simple: a friendly bootcamp in the park, open to every age and ability. The vision is bigger, youth workshops, support for schools and PE teachers, and one day a model other towns can run too. But it begins with one park, one family, one person deciding to move. Come as you are. Every body belongs here.
Support the movement.
Move For Life is for every body, including people who can't always cover the cost. Here's how you can help keep it open to everyone.
Sponsor a place
Cover a session for someone who wants to come but can't afford it: a kid, a family, a neighbour having a hard month. Every sponsored place keeps a spot open for someone who needs it.
Sponsor a place →Lend us some kit
Got spare equipment gathering dust in the garage? Mats, gloves, pads, cones, anything useful for outdoor sessions. Lend or donate it and help more people move.
Offer equipment →Just come anyway
If money is the only thing stopping you, it shouldn't be. Come to your first session free, or pay what you can. No questions, no awkwardness. Every body belongs here.
Get in touch →Get in touch.
Got a question, want to bring your family along, or interested in sessions for your school or youth group? I'd love to hear from you.
